Duties
• Advising Safety aspects to the required standards in all job related to safety
• Advising for preparing appropriate safety requirements for inclusion in work method statement including personal protective equipments.
• Ensuring proper Maintenance, Calibration and Operation of all safety equipments.
• Ensuring site security fire, First Aid and welfare facilities and procedures and appropriate to works are provided and properly maintained.
• Ensuring all safety standards and applicable regulations are applied.
• Carry out and record safety inspections at site.
B. Consolidated Contracting Co. (CCC) -- Safety Officer
(One of the oldest & reputed company in the field of civil construction & power generation which is an Italian based company conducting business in many countries including Middle East. In Kuwait they are concentrating in the substation works)
Duties
• Identification, Monitoring & Control of Project Hazards and Risks
• Coordinate emergency procedures, Fire fighting & First Aid Crew
• Ensuring proper Maintenance, Calibration and operation of all Safety Equipments & Machineries (Water tender, Fire Extinguisher)
• Conduct training sessions for management, supervisors and workers of Health & Legislation & Daily Tool Box Talks.
• To maintain discipline among workers under control, evaluating quality and cost of the jobs advising on potential hazards at work site.
