Job Description
The Associate is involved in all aspects of the deal process including researching and qualifying investment leads, evaluating the quality and risk of an investment opportunity, assessing proper valuation and optimal structure to execute a transaction, and monitoring portfolio companies.
The Associate serves as a key member of the team, working directly with senior management and analysts on a variety of assignments.
General Duties
· Evaluate investment opportunities;
· Prepare and participate in internal and external presentations to senior management, Board of Directors, and Investors/clients;
· Conduct financial and commercial due diligence of investment opportunities;
· Participate in all aspects of the deal process, including analysis, financial modeling, and valuation of potential investments;
· Deal structuring, deal negotiation, documentation, execution and coordination of the transaction process;
· Monitor investments and portfolio performance through active participation and development of periodical monitoring models; · Assist with operational interactions and prepare correspondences with external service providers (such as law, accounting and consulting firms);
· Prepare and assist in responding to queries related to transactions;
· Escalate technical, client related, and project management issues to senior management;
· Develop deep understanding of local and regional market trends, competitor positioning and offerings, key drivers of the business and industry best practices;
